Compared to Craiglist

craiglist has no integrated payment system.  Its pretty much up to the 2 parties to negotiate that themselves.

site looked ugly

 hard to navigate

getting in contact with the person

gotta sift through the junk

listing options are messed up in terms of location

Broad and not centralized items.

 

 

Compared to Ebay

Only accept some credit cards and paypal (They own paypal)

Its a broad audience

Taking a big cut from the seller

They sell Items, no service

They are very broad items, and not centralized

What we can do better
Can have a nice clean site with simple navigation
Login can be easy with their existant college email address and then a password
Could take care of the payments with use of doing all major credit cards as well as paypal and google payment
Allow for easy contact such as sms notification or email
Sell service, such as cleaning the bathroom or food delivery
